What is your favorite part of the YAAW program? Getting paid! Ok! Why did you apply for YAAW? I thought it was an interesting opportunity. I like to be around others my age that are into the same things as me. I wanted to get feedback from others on my artwork. -Asharah 2007 I did YAAW last year & enjoyed it and found it one of the best ways to spend the summer. -Sam 2007 Looked interesting & money for savings. -Elizabeth 2007 Seemed like a fun way to spend the summer. -Cristina 2007 Because I want to spend time wisely during summer and make money -Micah 2007 Wanted some different artistic views and wanted to learn new techniques. -Christian 2007 A really good summer job. What has YAAW taught you? How do you feel YAAW is benefiting you? I think it will benefit my skills, because I want to become a cartoonist. -John 2007 Looking really good on college applications & gives experience in new things along with trying things out of your comfort zone. -Elizabeth 2007 Learning skills I will need if I do study fine arts and they are paying me. -Cristina 2007 Besides getting paid, it gives me experience in different techniques of art. -Adrian It is getting me use to working a job.
